    1. Even if you say you are nonbinary- you are only allowed to chose if you want to be seen by people who like women or men 2. You can’t change your gender after making an account??? You have to make a whole new account. Like what is the point of that? 3. The only options you are given for sexuality are “attracted to man, women or both” like?? Is this the Middle Ages? It’s just very clear that the creator of the app does not want queer people using it. Hate that I gave it a download, but I guess I can make up for it by giving this review and letting other people know not to use it.

    There are more fake accounts on this “ dating app” then I’ve seen on any other app… I’ve been on here for MAYBE 2 weeks and seen at least 75 profiles haveing a website ( bjqueen.com) Like why aren’t the people who run this site actually doing anything about the fake accounts?!? SO Sick of spending time finding dating apps that actually work and aren’t full of fake accounts

  • Ex saw me on app and had my profile deleted

    For some reason my ex contacted POF after he wrote me and had my profile deleted. I left him because he was controlling and super bossy as well as manipulative. I didn’t do anything to him! I have no idea why they would just delete me off the site because of whatever he said. It’s ridiculous!

    This has to be the most frustrating app I’ve ever used. First you have to pay to get ANY benefit from it. I devout try the $80.00 plan and regret that as it is a very poor value - you really don’t get much over the free version. I assume the $120 plan would allow you to use most of the “features”, but I am unwilling to pay any more and truly wish had had never heard of POF! They will give you suggested people but some of them are not anyone you can respond to ( profile not available or this person is looking for someone that you are not!) If you block someone you still see them in the different categories but if you try to select them you get the message that their profile is not available. Apparently not many people are signing up because “newest members” rarely has anyone new!

    My profile was removed with zero warning or explanation after less than 48 hours lol 🤷🏻‍♀️I logged in to find a pop up from the app telling me they removed my account with a place to click to learn more…clicked and it tells me that i don’t have access lol 👍🏼

    The biggest frustration is getting sent a list of “recommended” users from POF and then when you click on them to look at their profile you get the “this user is looking for a different type of person”. Apparently POF needs to do a better job of matching up suggestions. I would not recommend this app.

  • Make it make sense

    I didn’t even make it past the gender marker section of creating an account. You’re inclusive enough to include other genders besides the binary. Great, congrats. But then I’m asked to select Man or Woman anyway. If I’m selecting nonbinary I don’t want to be seen as one or the other. That’s the whole point. I shouldn’t have to out myself into a box I don’t fit in.
