  • Accidentally deleting a playlist and not being able to restore it was my intro to this app

    Apple Music Classical pulls any works of music and the playlists you have from your main Apple Music account. Great! I thought. How convenient! Except one didn’t seem to fit in what I wanted to curate as my classical music collection. So I deleted it. Bad move. When I went back to the main Apple Music app where this list was generated by me, it no longer was there. Because deleting it in the Classical music app deleted it in Apple Music. Even though in the Classical Music app there was only one piece of music that migrated. No matter, my entire list- the one I listen to the most- DOZENS and dozens of songs were gone. Should I remember it? I’m sure some will come back to me and I can slowly rebuilt. But not really. If you google this problem, deleted playlists, you will find other frustrated people. It’s the stupidest, most unnecessary and probably easily fixable problem that apple just doesn’t care to address. That is the mark of terrible customer service. I really feel like canceling my subscription. I am that upset about this.

    The fact that this is an Apple developed app and it isn’t on CarPlay is both frustrating and confusing. Classical music deserves more.

    I didn’t really see the point in Apple Music until this app came out, I’ve really only been into Classical music. I listen to the Classical AM playlist on the commute to work, the classical chill playlist on the way back, and the classical sleep playlist at night. This app has got some really great songs, and I intend to stay subscribed to Apple Music for as long as this app is supported.

    Why can't I open this app? When I open it, a white screen appears, and after about half a minute it returns to the desktop.

    Of course, I am very happy to have this app and use it almost every day. I would like to be able to organize my albums better. One problem is that, for example, sometimes albums with music by Johann Sebastian Bach are organized under B and other times they are organized under J. That means that all of Bach’s albums are not together. It would be be nice to be able to create separate folders for each composer or type of music.

    I like this app and the idea of of it, however, the app keeps crashing when I try to download new music. I am not sure why this is happening; it seems to be a new thing that did not happen previously. It is quite annoying and makes the app hard to use.

  • I want to like it, but what’s the point?

    I like classical music to study to. I’m a medical student and it keeps me motivated and focused to do 10 hour study days. I was STOKED when I saw this app. Unfortunately, adding music to your library from this app adds it to your main Apple Music app as well. This is a HUGE bummer. I don’t want to rock out to Beethoven while driving, just studying. Really wish this app could keep songs separate from the main app, please add that as an option.
