I recently accepted a shop and delivery order for the amount of $67 it was a super large order I’m talking more then one cart with a TV included but $67 made it seem worth it so I wasn’t complaining that it took over an hr to shop and that I had to make a second trip back into the store for the TV or that I was delivering it into an apartment building which took 3 trips to get it all in and then the woman asked me to pull it all into her apartment for her she was disabled and reminded me of my mom so I obliged plus she paid well right? NO I only ended up actually being paid $26 !!!!! This order took me over 2 hrs to complete! I called in an questioned this and Walmart says there’s nothing they can do! Customers can say they are tipping well just to get their orders grabbed quickly and then they have 24hrs from delivery to completely remove said tip for no valid reason at all SO DRIVER BEWARE!

I started with spark in October 2020. It was my full time job for over 3 years, and I made decent money. I wasn’t getting rich, but I made enough to survive. The base pay (as well as tips) did decrease post-pandemic but I still did ok. I consistently had good metrics (except for acceptance rate which was always calculating wrong) and good relationships with customers and store associates. Then, out of the blue, I was deactivated. I was informed by text and the reason given was ‘misuse of the app.’ I called support multiple times trying to get an explanation of what I actually did wrong, but no one could ever give me an answer. I submitted an appeal but it was pretty hard to state my case when I didn’t know what I was being accused of. So, it was denied. I continued to contact support to no avail and even submitted help tickets through the app. Finally, over a month later, I received a response saying that I used geolocation software to misrepresent my location. What the heck?!! How they determined this I don’t know because I never did such a thing. I don’t even know how to use one of those things. It was a completely bogus and false accusation and no one would give me any answers or even discuss it for that matter. I lost my livelihood just like that for something I didn’t do and there was no course to rectify it. For this reason I gave 2 stars. I would have said one but it was good while it lasted. My recommendation: go and ahead and try it but don’t plan on doing it for any length of time. They’ll get rid of you if you start looking like a long term “employee.”

I’ve been delivering for Spark over the last couple of weeks and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I am making good income for a side gig and the work appears to be fairly steady. I look forward to tapping the Spark Now button as often as possible!

Spark is great. I highly recommend them. All of the employees at the Walmart stores are great! They’re fast, friendly, and go the extra mile. The app is easy to understand. I enjoy the shopping and curb side equally. The pay is very nice😊

I started with Spark in 2021 and I loved it. When I first started, we had to take two runs and it usually paid about $13-$18 a trip. And then they came out with shop & delivery. And that paid a minimum of $20. If you had a big order it paid you way more if you had any bulky items it paid you way more. Now you have to take three orders in a batch and it pays you a minimum of eight dollars and you pray that someone tips you so it actually comes out to being worth it. I’m hearing from the store, that they’re fixing to up the batches to four. I personally am not gonna do it anymore. My car is worth more than what they’re paying and it’s not worth it and a lot of places they want you to deliver to are nasty and the driveways can destroy your car like I said it used to be a great job and now it’s just a hassle.

Bryan I read your review…I was done the same way 1500 trips I have made doing this I got deactivated myself…Been trying for months now they say 7-10 days they will get in contact haven’t heard a word from them…I quit a good job to do this…To be deactivated and can’t talk to anyone to try and clear things up is horrible…I loved doing this as well…Maybe they will get on the ball and figure this out if not you drivers are at risk of being deactivated and not know why…Hope all you drivers have a good and safe day!!!

This latest update I notice the app crashes so much. The app doesn’t stay on
