Mint was a much better app than this. Interface, usability and overall function, Mint was great. This is useless.
  • Great for keeping track of credit score

My only complaint is I get outstanding offers for up to 2,000 credit line but when I apply I’m only approved for 300$ credit limit which isn’t even worth applying for when I already have a credit card for a 300$credit limit. Also credit score drops anytime I apply for a vehicle and then get denied very frustrating. Please don’t suggest me a more credit card offers thanks… I’m adding this comment as of April 17, 2024. I applied for an Avant card. I found this card on Credit Karma and it said there would be no impact to my credit score and today checking my email the credit card already showed up and knocked me down five points on my credit score for Trans Union. I am so furious right now they are falsely advertising that there will be no impact to credit but yet my score dropped today the same day I applied and got approved.

  • Your credit score updates

They say every seven days they will update your credit score. It doesn’t do that forever for disputes to be finalized. You really have to call companies to put in the right information regularly.
  • Bring Back Mint

The net worth functionality that is supposed to replace mint is to basic and largely not helpful. The category options have been greatly reduced and there is no option to create new categories or tags to better track spending. The refresh and update of accounts is often a day or two behind so not giving a good view of what you even have at the start of the day. The UI experience has gotten significantly worse. A bunch of extra layers between the key two items driving everything else overall net worth and the transactions that feed everything. I don’t need all the other detail in the app so please bring back the functions available in Mint and let us set that screen as the default. Or better yet, bring back the Mint app!

Coming from mint and they have made it 100x harder to transfer than it needed to be. To the point I’m not even going to use it and have removed the app.

I’m not sure why Mint got moved to Credit Karma because they don’t have the same features at all. There is no place to track my spending, which is what I was using Mint for.

  • Huge downgrade from Mint

Like everyone else, I was forced to migrate from Mint to CK with big promises it would have the same great features and more. It doesn’t. It discards with all the useful accounting features of budget and transaction tracking of Mint and replaces them with one sales pitch after another for credit cards, insurance, and loans. Good luck finding any useful features as you drown in thinly veiled ads. Its like going from an accountant with an IQ of 130 to one with an IQ of 80. It’s insultingly sparse and simplistic. It sends you one singular message: this company does not care about you, your financial health, or your time. It cares about using your information to sell you financial products you don’t need. It’s a one-sided relationship. They get my data and I get nothing. I’m going to cancel my account. I don’t trust this company with my personal financial data, especially since I’m getting nothing of value in return. I’m furious I got pressured to move over to this app.
